‘This tour was a blast. We booked transportation and one of the guides picked us up and brought us back in their car, and we had a great conversation about life on the island. The Spanish waters are beautiful and lots of fun. You take off by boat from a chill kite surfing shop, and find the paddle boards out in the mangroves. You paddle through and enjoy the views, and stop for snacks and water half way in a small enclosure of mangroves. You paddle all the way back to the shop through the channel, and the wind takes you a good bit of the way which is a fun experience. I even sweat a little in some of the parts we were navigating the wind and currents! The team takes pictures of you the whole way, and gives them to you for free at the end, so no need to worry about a camera or anything, just enjoy yourself. this tour is easy for beginners and also fun if you’ve done SUP before. When you get back, you can have a beer at the shop and watch the boat traffic and kite surfers. My wife and I had a great time and would do again!’

‘The tour started with an upwind ride on a motorboat to the place where the mangroves grow in the Spanish Water lagoon. The SUP ride itself was most predominantly downwind which was a great asset. Boards and paddles (Starboard) were in great condition and paddling was big fun. The guides (Roel and Jar) were very experienced and gave lots of useful instructions for paddling as well as information on the ecosystem. They also had an eye on all of us paddlers during the tour and they perfectly managed to keep the group together and close to the shore. If you want to have a great SUP tour in an outstanding location on Curacao with great guides - that's where you should go!! We liked the tour and the spot that much that we hired boards again a few days later to repeat the tour on our own. On that occasion we wind conditions were a bit more challenging and we had an advanced physical workout.’
