Klein Curaçao - a trip to Paradise

‘Klein Curacao is an uninhabited island with a spectacular beach and crystal clear water. My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing, snorkeling and swimming in the water and exploring the abandoned lighthouse and ship wrecks. There are other tour operators that offers tours to the island, however after researching the others, we found Mermaid Boat Tours to be the best. They have their own pavilion with a BBQ, tables and restrooms. The cost of the tour included a 2 hour boat ride to the island, breakfast and lunch and an open bar. The views from the tower were absolutely spectacular, you could see the whole island. The crew was wonderful, very careful to take anything off the island they brought, including trash to help maintain the island. If you're looking for beach escape, Klein Curacao is the way to go.’

‘What a glorious day beginning with limousine pickup at our resort. We arrived at the marina and boarded in a quick manor, paying upon arrival. The boat ride lasted about 1.5 hours, but it was a great calm day on the water. Wow, was all we could say upon arrival to Klein Curacao. The water was pristine. A few rules and then breakfast was served. From there, everyone picked up their chairs and claimed their spot for the day. Plenty of chairs and tiki huts are available. Then we hit the water, which, as I said, was the highlight of our day. A little hike to see the sites and then back to swimming, snorkeling, and lunch. The lunch was absolutely amazing. A little feeding of the fish and more snorkeling. Finally, it was time to head back, and they dropped us right at our Resort Dock. Thanks to all the guys who shared our day with us. Very professional and fun day.’

‘We had the greatest time! It was so relaxing. Having the shade and bathrooms was clutch. My 10 year old had a blast watching the hermit crabs and lizards. It was fun exploring the rocky shore where the shipwrecks were. Ps. That side is not suitable for snorkeling so don't bother hauling your gear out there. The BBQ lunch was so amazing. We tried everything and it was all delicious. That peanut sauce! Yum! Would definitely go again!’
